First visit. They were available earlier and called to let me take advantage of that. Professional person diagnosed. Second visit to install ordered part was scheduled very quickly and they were on time. All crew were polite and professional. Fixed AC unit. Would use again in heartbeat.

They were amazing! We had a tune-up through Living Social with another company who told us we had a crack in our heat exchange on our furnace, as well as numerous holes rusted completely through in other areas and that it was SO dangerous that he had shut the gas off to the furnace because of the deadly carbon monoxide fumes that would be emitted. We then called American Home Shield, with whom we have a policy, and they stated they would be sending Hansen Mechanical. We were almost immediately contacted by Hansen via text to let us know they would be contacting us within the next 24 hours. This was followed by texts giving us our appointment date (the next day) and the appointment time frame window (2 to 4 pm). The day of the appointment, we received a text at 2 pm stating that their service person was on his way, followed very shortly by another text letting us know he was almost to our home. Their service person, Rocky, was AMAZING. He went down and did an even more thorough examination of the furnace than the man from the Living Social company had, and he said we had no cracks or holes...just simple rust from condensation that occurs as furnaces are used. He then verified the other company had replaced all the parts correctly and turned on the furnace, after which he went vent to vent to check for any carbon monoxide detection. Absolutely NO carbon monoxide was detected. He could easily have just went along with the Living Social company's serviceman and told us that we needed a new furnace just to make money (which was apparently what the Living Social company was attempting to do), as with two service persons telling us we needed a new furnace, we would not have questioned it. Instead, he was honest and told us that it was fine and looked really good for a 29-year-old furnace (Go Trane High Efficiency Furnaces and Ed for amazing maintenance!!). I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone.
