About the Owner
Paul Hansen Jr.
Paul started the business in early 2000, working as an independent contractor. He provided heating and air conditioning services to home warranty customers.
During this time, he honed his skills with repairs and working on a wide variety of brands and types of units. He always made it a point to work with homeowners that needed more options than the typical companies offered. He didn't want to be just another salesman trying to get them to buy new equipment. Instead, he wanted to repair their system at a reasonable cost whenever possible.
After ten years working as an independent contractor, Paul decided to form his own business and continued to provide excellent repair service and an honest diagnosis for every homeowner. He also obtained his Master Mechanical certificate and attended regular seminars and trainings to keep up to date on the latest changes in our industry.
The top priority of Hansen Mechanical is providing honest analysis and recommendations on every system we service, as well as building a long-term relationship with the homeowner and their family.
Kim is Paul's wife. She manages the office and helped Paul get the company up and running. Currently she handles the accounting and clerical aspect of the business, including licenses, insurance and permits as needed.
Kim has also assisted in the field as an assistant and has basic HVAC knowledge, which helps with troubleshooting for homeowners that call into the office.
Jenna is Paul's daughter and joined our office staff in 2017. Prior to that, Jenna had worked with her dad in the field running service calls, which has afforded her a vast knowledge on basic HVAC operation and allows her to provide homeowners with more information when they call in for scheduling and troubleshooting.
Jenna has prior experience in the customer service industry and has already brought a vast improvement in the office and helping to respond to homeowners in a timely manner.
Alex started with the company in January 2017. Alex graduated from Northland Career Center in May 2016 with a certificate in HVAC. We are lucky to have hired Alex fresh out of school and help him continue to hone his skills in the HVAC industry.
Alex is a hard worker and puts customer satisfaction as a top priority. We are pleased he chose to join our team.
John started with the company in November 2017. He graduated from Northland Career Center in May 2016 with a certificate in HVAC. John has field experience on several brands and is competent in all necessary repairs and troubleshooting.
John is a hard worker and his field experience is a great asset to the company.
Ryan started with our company in May 2017. He was hired as a helper, and quickly inquired about working his way up the ladder to Technician. He is currently working as an Assistant Installer as well as a Service Technician. Ryan is a hard worker and strives to learn more about the field from each job. He works very hard to provide the best in customer service and make sure the homeowner's questions about their system and performance are answered in a professional and thorough way.
We are excited to help Ryan keep learning more and working on his craft with our company.
James started with our company in May 2019. He is one of our Lead Installers and came to us with over a year experience with solely doing installs and making sure every job is treated with the utmost consideration given to the craftsmanship of his work and thoroughly test the system upon completion of the install.
James attention to detail is second to none and he is also working on learning the technician side of our industry to provide even more customer service to our homeowners. He takes great pride in his work and it shows on every install.
We have known James for many years as he is a long time family friend and we are excited to have him join the company!
Easton started with our company also in May 2019. He graduated from Northland Career Center in May 2017 with a certificate in HVAC. He was hired initially as a helper but was quickly promoted to Assistant Installer within 3 months of employment based on his aptitude to learn the trade and drive to improve his skills. He is currently in training to be a Service Technician.
We have been very impressed with Easton's drive and professionalism and look forward to a long relationship with him working in our company!
